Curtains at Katandra Interiors are a strong style statement and allows you to fine-tune the amount of light or privacy you want

Katandra has the largest fabric gallery in the south west offering many designer fabrics that are not available elsewhere, without the designer price tag.

Blockout lined curtains offer better insulation and sound absorption than blinds.  Curtains can be sheer or blockout, depending on your requirements, and be mixed with blinds.  A decorative sheer with a blockout shutter behind can look great.

Curtains products at Katandra Interiors will complete the look of your window furnishings. From Classic to Contemporary, Urban Living to Country Style, Katandra Interiors Curtains can complete your interior fashion statement with a truly superior range. It's important that any new curtains work within the existing style and décor of your home, and we have the experience to make sure your curtains are the right fit, installed properly and within your budget.

Having the largest fabric collection in the south west, Katandra Interiors has fabrics varying in price from designer to budget and can tailor a look to suit your style without compromising on the quality of the products.

Drapes are the perfect option if you are looking for grandeur, insulation and privacy in your room. They can transform a room and are the ultimate window furnishing to add personality to your home.

Katandra Interiors sell drapes made of high quality fabric made for longevity in your home and when hung right they can provide the room with elegance and style. Their thickness and superior quality can help homeowners save on their heating bills throughout the year by adding another layer of warmth.

This type of window treatment generally runs floor-length and are made to block out light during the day and to seal in heat during cold or winter months.

Beautiful Ranges of Fabrics

Windows are a source of nature; they bring the outdoors into your home. Therefore, window coverings should be classic and timeless, complementing your home and allowing the beauty of the outdoors to shine through. At

Katandra Interiors we have a wide range of fabrics, including the latest ranges from Mokum, Unique, Casamance, Harlequin, James Dunlop, Christian Fischbacher, Schumaker, Fabricut, Clarke & Clarke, Warwick, Charles Parsons, Nettex, Wilson, Marco, Ashley Wilde, Gummerson, Maurice Kain, Crowson, Sanderson, Zepel, Filigree and many others. With this extensive collection along with our made-to-measure service, our consultants will help you achieve the exact look to suit your home and your lifestyle.

Simplicity and Functionality

In keeping with today's modern architecture, window furnishings have followed suit with simplicity and functionality. Our Katandra Interiors Interior design team understand how best to use the wide variety of curtain fabrics and styles available to suit each individual room. From plain fabrics to dynamic prints, you can choose to have your drapes and curtains blend in with your home or use them to make a feature statement.

Curtains can act as insulation for your room to combat any weather. Closed curtains can help keep the sun and heat away during summer and as well as keep the heat in during the winter.  We stress the importance of using quality curtain linings that will last for decades, and shy away from coated linings that only offer a short 5-year lifespan. Let us show you the difference.

Katandra Interiors specialise in making all types of drapery. So whether you are looking to frame a view or block out the heat and glare, you'll be sure to find the curtains and blinds to suit at Katandra Interiors.

Sheer Curtains

Sheer curtains can let lots of light into a room whilst also providing privacy. This is an option for you if you want to create the perfect ambience and light filtering. We have an extensive range of sheer fabrics in a wide variety of patterns, textures and colours with which you can create a stylish window treatment to suit your home and lifestyle.

Katandra Interiors can help you add that personal touch to your room. Whether you use a wave heading for a more contemporary feel or pleating, swags or for a more traditional homely effect, we have the fabric to suit. Gathered headings, like pencil pleat, when used on a sheer fabric can add a soft, romantic feel to your windows. Pinch Pleat heading is a versatile style that can complement any room décor. When trying to achieve a formal appearance, a goblet pleat heading offers a more tailored look.

It is all about getting the right look for you and your home.  If shopping around, you will be impressed with our service and competitive pricing.

Swags and Tails

Swag and tails are the ultimate in formal decorating - they give  a soft romantic, feminine look. Swags can be positioned over a decorative rod or concealed board or over a pelmet, coordinating with curtains below.

Swags and tails are the ultimate style indulgence. With similar insulating qualities as a pelmet, swags and tails will enhance your window decor with prestige and elegance. A range of flange cord, tassels and beading embellishments are available. Cascades can also be added when utilising a swag and tail on a bay or corner window to fill in between swags.

Swags add beauty, class and satisfaction to a room. So, if you are after detailed elegance, swags could be for you.  With or without curtains, swags may be used to dress a simple room to make a great statement. Add tassels for that wow factor!

Curtain Tie Backs

At Katandra Interiors, we pride ourselves on being able to provide you with the perfect finishing touches to your window treatments. Our made-to-measure tiebacks does just that. They are like the jewelry of your room and can really finish off the look of your window treatment.

From the sheer simplicity of our plain tailored tieback to more luxurious looks using beads and beautiful trims, there's something available for all tastes and requirements. We can coordinate your drapery fabric with your tiebacks or even help you find a contrast. Whatever you need, our trained designers are there for you.

Pelmets are ideal for creating a complete look for your window decor. They work as a great insulation tool and with the many customizations we offer, pelmets can add the finishing touch to your window furnishings by acting as a frame.

Our specialist upholsterers custom make padded pelmets, shaped pelmets or designer pelmets. All are tailor made to suit your decorating needs; matching/contrasting fabrics, pipings, flange cord, tassels and beading. Pelmets consist of quality board used for the headboard, craft-board for the fascia/returns and are generally covered with Dacron for the padding. Visit our showroom today to view our comprehensive pelmet displays and Katandra Interiors special designs.

Curtain Rods & Tracks

Curtain rods can style and transform the look of your window coverings by accessorising your curtains. Finish off the look of your windows in style with elegant metal curtain rods or custom painted timber poles. Our range is extensive. We have a preference for Silent Gliss tracks as they run smooth and they are architecturally neat and minimalist. Quality is key and good hardware is everything.
